Family Ocean Shores Trip

Get ready for picture overload! Seriously this post has some of my favorite pictures I took on our recent trip to the coast. I say some of my favorites because I took a TON of pictures! A ton! This trip was really one of the first times that I have taken my camera out in a long time. I ind that it is just too much of a hassle taking it out, and worrying about dropping it, getting it wet, etc... Most of the time I just take my ipod along and use instagram to document our memories. I didn't realize til this trip how much I missed using my trusty old Canon! So here it is, this June we had all of my husbands siblings fly out here and we all took a trip down to the coast. We stayed in a gorgeous house that was literally right on the beach. I swear the kids spent most of the time out there. It was a perfect and surprisingly relaxing time. I say surprisingly because there were 29 of us! When we were itching to get out of the house we headed into town to the arcade or to the bowling alley. Noah was excited to bowl,  Joshie was unimpressed! I am so thankful for the week we spent together, it will likely be a few years until we are all together again. Like I said before here are some of my favorite pictures from the trip. Enjoy!

Noah, Samuel and Landon are all around the same age. They loved the water!

This was the look that was on Joshies face for most of the time at the beach! He was so tired most of the time, he did not sleep well at all, so you can imagine that I didn't sleep either.
Samuel and Joshie playing skee ball. The arcade was a blast! Papa and Grandma saved so that everyone could have a chance to play the games.
This is my absolute favorite picture! Noah, Samuel, Tony and Lily
Such a sweet picture of Cammie and Mollie

Tony, Noah and Samuel. Like I said, the kids loved the water!

Oh look, Joshie looks like he is having fun! Here is Joshie and Landon
 Oh back to the water...
Look how sweet he is when he is not screaming his head off...
This is about as far out as Joshua would go!
 Tons of sand dollars!
Hannah, Adria and Lily. I cant believe how big these girls are getting!
 Noah
 Samuel
 Noah and Joshua
more boys running to the water
Matt, Cammie, Mollie and Matthew.

Can you believe I didn't get any pictures with my husband or my boys? I guess that is how it is when you are the one behind the camera

Happy 3rd Birthday Joshie!

Way back in June we celebrated our sweet Joshua turning 3 years old! We invited a few of his friends from church over for a ice cream sundae bar! Who doesnt love an ice cream sundae? As usual for Joshua he didnt seem too excited to have people over, he had pretty much the same expression on his face the whole time, well except for opening presents, then he got pretty excited! Our Joshua is such a sweet boy, he is definitely a lover. loves to snuggle! He has such a mellow personality, always has the same stone faced expression, he is such a happy boy but you wouldnt know it by his pictures!

Of course, Joshua wanted an Angry Birds party this year, my boys LOVE angry birds! We kept it simple, just cupcakes, rice krispy treats and cookies shaped like stars. The party favors were golden egg cookies! Oh of course we cant forget the ice cream sundaes!

Love free printables! Although Micah is pretty photo shop savvy, I'm sure he can make something like this pretty easily,  it was nice to have it already made!
I did a cute little photo display with bakers twine and mini clothes pins! can you say CUTE! I have a new found love for bakers twine, oh and washi tape! One of my favorite pinterest ideas was making these angry bird balloons, i just printed out the template and taped the faces on the balloons! The kids LOVED them!

My stone faced little boy! Love this cute hat!
and sunglasses.... these pictures break my heart... we had been battling his eczema for several months and could not get it under control. You can see it under his lip here, and around his eyes. Poor baby.

He loved his new soccer ball and net... this boy is definitely going to be our sports kid! Not quite sure if i wanna be a soccer mom, he sure seems to love it though!
Happy to my sweet Joshua. You have brought so much joy to our lives, and I am thankful for you every day. We pray every day that the Lord would call you to himself and you would grow to be a man who loves HIM with your whole heart, soul, mind and strength.

Seriously, It's August already!?

I cant believe I am actually getting a free moment to sit down and update my poor little neglected blog! Life has just been so crazy, I never imagined having 3 little ones under foot all day would consume so much of my time, energy and patience! I mean really, I usually fall into bed at night thinking, " I did absolutely nothing... all day....." Truth is I did a lot, a lot of breaking up fights, taking a little 3 year old potty five hundred times, nursing, attempting to pick up the house, etc.... oh and I cant forget my new found love for Downton Abbey, that consumes at least an hour of my evening... seriously LOVE this show! I have made it my goal to incorporate a few phrases from the show into my daily conversation with my husband he has heard a few " are you quite finished ?" and my personal favorite, " now kiss me before I get cross" Seriously i love this show! Anyway... moving on.. what have we been up to this summer you may ask.. well too much for one post I will tell you that! Here is a small window into the first part of our summer. Enjoy!

Noah played T-ball and he loved it! He especially loved playing the catcher position. He also was excited that his uniform was #1.

I think by the end of the season he finally was starting to understand what baseball is all about... lets be honest Noah is kind of an air head... he would mostly just stand around, or chase butterflies or pick flowers.

Noah graduated from Pre-K. So so  sad that my baby is going into kindergarten! How can this be? I seriously am struggling with this season, the idea of dropping my son off with people I don't really know freaks me out! Not to mention throw in the epilepsy.... sheesh! I need lots of prayer! Back to Pre- K. We have the most wonderful preschool at our church. I have been so blessed to have my boys be a part of it!

Look how proud he is of his cool hat!
 Noah with his mimi
Noah with his buddies. I just love being a part of a church family where all of our kids will grow up together!

We also took a few trips to Ocean Shores. I have a TON of pictures from our huge family trip but that is for a different post. These are from our trip with the youth group. The weather was perfect!  Noah had a great time hanging out with the kids, and his best friends Grace and Faith came along too. Actually I should say he has 3 best friends, Grace , Faith, and landon. He would be upset if I didn't include Lando on his best friends list!

 See, PERFECT WEATHER!
I threw together a surprise 50th birthday party for my mom! Shockingly she was actually surprised! I put together a cute table display but of course I cant find it! We were so blessed by all the people that came to celebrate my mom. I know she felt so loved, which was my goal!

Stay tuned for posts about Ocean trip, my Joshies birthday party, our summer furniture re-hab projects, more bathroom remodel, and some super cute pictures of a super cute baby Daniel!
