This week we celebrated my amazing husbands 30th birthday. I planned a simple dinner at our house on his special day, my mom, brother and sister in law came too because it was on the day they normally come over. We are trying to spend as much time with them in the next few days because Brendan and Angela are moving out of state this week. We were so glad they could come over on thursday to celebrate with us. I made stuffed shells, ( Micah didn't ask for them but he always comments that I never make them so I thought this would be the perfect occasion) I made Banana cream pie cupcakes for dessert. If you have never heard of it... Annies Eats Blog is awesome! I seriously have made 3 things from her blog this week! The cupcakes turned out amazing... of course they took about 3 hours start to finish. They were sooo worth it! My man is well worth it! It turned out to be a great night!

Noah insisted on decorating the house for Daddys Birthday. We hung these blue and white pom pom's above the table, Noah insisted on hanging the " Handy Manny" birthday banner ( you can see it in the background) I also put a strip of craft paper on the table for us to write notes to Micah on. It was definitely a hit with the boys!

I have been planning a " Mustache Bash" surprise Birthday party for Micah for months! I have been so incredibly stressed out, because I swear he knew what was going on! I had to hide all of the decor at my in laws house because I was afraid Micah would find them! We had the party at our church this Saturday. We arranged a " man date" for Micah that afternoon, some of his friends took him out for the afternoon and brought him to the church. A huge thank you goes out to our decoy's! You guys are so creative and I am so thankful for friends that love my husband! Micah was completely surprised! It was a wonderful time with friends that we love like family! Of course... I remembered as soon as the party started a handful of people that I forgot to invite.
