While we were on our family vacation we had the opportunity to head down to Oregon to celebrate my Grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. It was an absolutely beautiful day and filled with so many sweet memories. I took tons of pictures! I wanted to capture every moment for them to remember. I have included a few of the pictures that I have edited, mostly the highlights of the day. A huge thank you goes out to my aunts and uncles who planned this event, and of course to my grandparents. Wayne and Linda have left am amazing legacy for our family. In a culture where people are so quick to give up when things aren't going their way, marriage has suffered. 50 years of marriage is truly an event worth celebrating. I am so thankful for these two, thankful for the legacy of faithfulness to both the Lord and to each other. I am thankful that through all of lifes uncertainties and up's and down's that there are two constants in my grandparents lives... Jesus Christ and each other. Thank you gram and pop for modeling so beautifully, Gods design for marriage. I love you.
" and Adam said this is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. she shall be called woman because she was taken out of man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and mother and shall cleave unto his wife... and they shall be one flesh." Genesis 2:23-24

My favorite moment by far was seeing my grandparents share a dance. It was beautiful. " take my hand...take my whole life too... i cant help falling in love with you."

Each of my grandparents children took a few minutes to share some memory or thought about my grandparents. this is a picture of them during this time. My uncle Matt spoke about how he and my aunt got pregnant while still kids, and that decision not only had and effect on themselves but also on my grandparents. My grandparents support and love through those tough times meant so much to them. What a testimony to them... My aunt and uncle's marriage may have started in a not very ideal situation but 20+ years later they have an amazing marriage. Thank you Uncle Matt for sharing that!
