Everything Looks Beautiful Covered in Snow

We woke up this morning to a good 8 inches of snow! And of course... in our neck of the woods... no power! We were worried about being able to get Micah into work, he cant really make his own schedule anymore, plus we didn't want to freeze to death, so we packed up and headed to my in laws. We will be there for a few days, it seems like this is an annual tradition, maybe we should come up with a name for it! I am so thankful that they will take us in... all of us! ( two adults, two kids, and two dogs! The top photo is our road, our car almost didn't make it up the hill! We have AWD and have never had a problem with the snow!

Thought this was cool, after church on Sunday I was waiting in the car for Micah and the sun was in just the right spot... even ugly power lines are pretty cool looking in the snow!
